number will be during the Amateur Boxing
Smoker event on Friday evening, the KUMA
Coffee Hour Saturday morning, and the Saturday evening

celebration and at the Information Booth

Heppner invites
you to come and be a part of the 9th St.
Paddy's Cruz-In.
Assembly of vehicles will begin
at 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at the northwest
entrance to Heppner (formerly Kinzua Millsite)
on Hwy. 74. The Cruz-In parade will
begin at noon with entries Cruzin through
downtown Heppner and into the parking/show
area.
Plaque awards will be given for:
Leprechaun's Choice; Mustang Award; Judges
Choice
Registration is $10.00 by March
11th; $15.00 on site. Early entries are
encouraged and appreciated. All entries

WEE BIT O’ IRELAND IN
HEPPNER
The City of Heppner’s St. Patrick’s Day
Celebration is rapidly approaching and
wonderful things are for planned March 14,
2009, with THE GREAT GREEN PARADE
at the top o’ the list. To be sure, it
wouldn’t be such a fine parade but for folks
like yourself. So won’t ye’ please come, join
in the fun and be part o’ the Heppner’s St.
Patrick’s Day Parade.
The parade will be Saturday, March 14, 2009
at 1:00 P.M. It will start at the north end of
town near the Green Feed Store and travel Main
Street through Heppner, ending up at the
intersection of May and Chase Street. All
participants twelve and under receive special
recognition.
Saturday morning at 11:30 am, we’ll set a
sign-in table on the front porch of Green Feed
Store. You’ll need to check in there to get
your parade number and location. If you
want to compete for a ribbon, you’ll need to
be sure to be signed in and in place no later
than 12:00 noon. Judging will take place
during the parade.
This parade
is a non-equestrian parade. Please bring
your horses to the Fair/Rodeo Parade in
August!
NO CANDY OR
OTHER ITEMS ARE TO BE THROWN FROM VEHICLES
OR WAGONS. You may walk along and hand
candy to people, but no throwing!
We’ve included an entry form for you to
complete and return; and we’d really be
thankin’ye if you could have it back by
March 12. Don’t hesitate to call or write
if you have questions. We’re looking forward
to seeing you in the Parade and hope we’ll be
hearing from you soon. Remember, the
