Volkswalk
Registration Information...
By
visiting the Heppner Family Foods grocery store
located on Main Street. You will find
the Volkswalk binder inside that houses all
the materials that you will need to register
for the Volkswalk. You will also find a copy
of the map
inside the binder as well!
What
should you expect to find? Here is the
Registration procedure:

Fill
in the Event Registration Log (AVA Form
265) Information - Date, Name, Address,
and Participation Category:
( ) Heppner Hat
Pin; ( ) Credit.
( ) Free
-
Sign
the Amateur Athletic Waiver and Release
of Liability.

Obtain
a Start Card and Envelope from the back
flap of the binder and complete the
Start Card Information - Start Number,
Name, Address, and Participation
Category.

Obtain
a Route Description and Map from the
front flap of the binder.
-
Walk
the Heppner Volkswalk route as described
in the Route Description and Map.
The route is also marked with 6 inch
green shamrocks every 50 feet. Note the identification
check point information and enter it on
the Start Card.

Upon
completion of the walk, place the
appropriate fee along with the completed
Start Card in the envelope provided and
put this in the cash pouch
in the back flap of the binder.
Make checks to Oregon Trails State
Volkswalk Association (OTSVA).

Credit
walkers should stamp their event and
distance books with the stamp contained
in the first clear plastic notebook
pouch.

Participants
who have purchased a Heppner Hat Pin should
obtain their pins from the second clear
plastic pouch. Cost is $3.00.

a Year Round Event to a Seasonal
Event. The event stamp will be
available on or around June 30th.
